About the Artist

“Art washes away from the soul the dust of daily life” – Pablo Piccaso

Me-Painted-Mix

Hello and welcome:)

I am a photographic artist and designer inspired by the magic found in nature, fauna, flora and the universe at large.

I have always been an imaginative soul, and over the years my creativity has evolved and developed to become a major part of my life. My art style is diverse and conceptual in form, I have fun with the creative process and rarely stop dreaming of my next project.

Born and raised in Nottinghamshire – the heart of Sherwood Forest, it’s no surprise that I have a huge passion for nature, and a large majority of my art feature animals, birds, flowers and wildlife.

I do enjoy adding a little magic, and use Photoshop and various other digital processes to enhance my art designs – blending photography, illustration, pattern design and art textures. I believe animals are an inspirational and loving source of light and hope, and I present them as I see them.

I love contemporary art, but also gain inspiration from the Old Masters. Luminous pigments of Aquarelle, loose strokes and fleeting glimpses of Impressionism fascinate me! My art is by design, and whether fauna or flora – I aspire to dance between truth and dreams.

This Portfolio presents a selection of my original works. Information on purchasing prints and merchandise can be found here.
